Creative Gifts Are The Best Gifts!
If you're still shopping for holiday gifts for the young artist or creative kid in your life, check out my suggestions below. These are items I either stock in my studio, use with my art students, would have loved to receive myself, or supplies my own children use. I'm including items in a variety of price points, from under ten bucks up to around 100 (prices listed are acurate as of the day of publishing this post but may increase or decrease anytime). For convenience, I am linking to online shopping, though you may also find these items in your local art supply store, like Michaels, Blick, Hobby Lobby, or JoAnn. Sometimes Target, Meijer, and Walmart will have them, too. If you use the links to make a purchase, I might receive a small commission from Amazon at no extra charge to you, which helps support my studio. Thank you!

Heavy-Duty Tabletop Studio H-Frame Wooden Easel- Solid Beech Adjustable $34.95
My students don't all like working with an easel, but I highly recommend this when drawing or painting vs working on a flat surface to get accurate perspective and proportions. This one is what I have in my studio because it's very quick to set up, easy to adjust to multiple canvas sizes, and folds flat for storage.

Caran d'Ache Classic Neocolor II Water-Soluble Pastels $24.01
These pastels work similarly to crayons but are water-reactive, which means they can create a watercolor look with great control. So fun for all ages!
10. Colored Pens
STABILO Point 88 Fineliner Pens, 0.4 mm - 30-Color Set $24.46
We use these in my studio for sketching and drawing, when thicker markers won't give the needed detail. They are great paired with watercolors, as well.
