Art Studio Virtual Tour

I’m so excited to show you what’s going on inside of my art studio because I’ve been doing a lot of rearranging and now have a whole new workspace for my largest paintings. Thanks to my handy husband, there is a beautiful wall with mounted slats and moveable pegs where I can configure gallery displays and hang works-in-progress.

With the new wall system up, we extended a section of shiplap wall further, and I rearranged some storage cabinets to this area. This created more display space for finished works. I plan to hang paintings on the walls above the storage cabinets. The studio has a very open feel to it now, with lots of space to move and create freely. I am looking forward very much to the larger pieces that are to come from this!

If you would like to see some behind-the-scenes peeks of the transformation taking place, enjoy the video below. Also, make note that I’m hosting my first-ever open studio in late spring. You’ll be invited to come in, take a look around, and see everything in person, while enjoying some yummy snacks. The best part will be gathering in person. Details will go out to my e-mail list when the date for the open house is set.

The rest of the studio update is almost finished, and I’ll share that in a future blog post. You can also peek at more behing-the-scenes of the studio in my Instagram stories highlight. Thanks for watching!
